First Blog Ever!

Hello Friends!

If you are reading this then you must be somewhat interested in our lives and what is going on with Mission Africa! It is a miracle and delight to our hearts that people are showing so much support and concern for the call that God has put on our lives. We know that people are so busy in our culture, so taking time to inquire about what is going on, let alone do something creative to help us, shows that there are a bunch of people out there who slow down enough to listen to God's whispers!

Here are a few of the amazing and heart-warming things that people have told us they are doing:

1) One family has been recycling water bottles in their home to use the money for Mission Africa. In addition, at the little girl's AWANA class (she is a first grader) they pray for a missionary each year but didn't have one this year. The little girl said, "I have my own missionary family to pray for!"

2) A widow from Montana sends a check to us each month. Brooke met her over 10 years ago and has kept in touch. She is a dear lady who prays for us often and is faithful and reliable.

3) A friend of ours has a daughter who does acting and modeling in Los Angeles. They have decided to give 10% of whatever she makes to Mission Africa! It is a great way to teach the 11 year old to give while also exposing her to world missions.

4) Another lady works at a local Christian School campus. She is talking to the administration about setting up specific trash cans to recycle cans and bottles just for Mission Africa! We all know how much soda kids drink!

5) A lady that Brooke knows well wants to keep up on daily prayer requests while we are in Kenya, but she has never opened an email account. She is getting a laptop computer and email account just to stay in touch while we are on our mission!

These are just a few of the sweet and simple ways our might God inspires people to be creative for His Cause! We wait in anticipation at what might happen next!

Hoping you like our first blog,

Bill and Brooke
